We invite you to argue. In exchange for a cold drink, we would like to cultivate the battle of words and take a closer look at the manifoldness of controversy. Next to the readings of the Sprachkunst department, the students of the MA Studies in Art and Culture will be running the streitbar. We invite you to reflect performatively on what it means to exchange the chitchat of a pleasant hot summer day for the art of quarreling. There is no art without discourse, no beauty without articulated doubt; let's disagree and despair together about the most important and trivial questions of the present. Don't bring money, just compelling arguments. We await you with delicious refreshments. We will open the streitbar at tuesday, 27th of June, 7pm.
