Description

Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder live in New York and collaborate since 2000. They unite the rich traditions of the experimental film (particularly its structuralist and materialist strands) and the sensibility of expanded cinema that emerged in the 1960s. There body of work includes filmic installations in museums and art galleries as well as film-based projection performances, which both contributed to their international reputation.
