introduction of history of intaglio
practical workshop: learning the basic techniques of drypoint, aquatint and lineetching
produce your own printing plates by applying various methods of manual techniques
learn how to distinguish the characteristics of an intaglio print
printrelated matters like for example edition, materials ,mould made paper, chemicals, basic materials will be discussed and practically realized.
Aim of the study: By the end of term you should have apprehended the processes, characteristics and basic methods of artistic intaglio printmaking.
Examination Modalities
presentation of at least three different professionally realized prints
