Portfolio & Showroom – Rethinking visibility for art and science
How can exhibitions, performances, concert series, or artistic-scientific projects be documented in such a way that they remain visible and curatable while still under the control of their creators?
Portfolio & Showroom, two open-source web applications published in May 2022, form a research information system specifically for the arts and culture sector – going beyond traditional metrics and focusing on individuality, data sovereignty, and visual expressiveness.
Developed from a collaborative development project and supported by a growing network of Austrian art and science institutions, PF/SR invites users to explore new ways of presenting and utilizing creative research.
