Beschreibung

This paper addresses the emergence of Multiple Selves as crucial category of social networks and its connected methods of insight, learning and creative practice in Metaverse and its role in contemporary technologically determined societies. It puts an emphasis on the creative practice to transfer 3dimensional objects of virtual worlds into physical materiality through printing techniques, which become increasingly available in western cultures. The presence of such cyber sculptures is analysed in the authors arts example of artefacts made of free virtual objects. Conclusions are drawn from the arts practice to education, on the analysis of how insight is created through the making and transfer of object into differing media as strategy in arts. The analysis stems from the observation of students working in virtual worlds and puts an emphasis on life long learning in Metaverse.
