Auflage mit erweitertem Vorwort). https://doi.org/10.57752/uaav_neuromatic_play_kopfgeld_and_-_other_experiments In the AI-related projects Kopfgeld: Ludic Eigenface Currency Concerter Game , and [AI]MAZE, and in the solo-show installation in the exhibition house OHO, The Playful AI Labyrinth , which are discussed in this publication, we use game art to critically highlight the techno-feudalistic and platform-capitalistic harvesting of biometric data. Both address the development and proliferation of AI systems, which have rapidly gained momentum since its first edition. Spatial physical installations anticipate an urgent spatial component that we see as an essential dimension of next research steps. We support critical distancing from AI through games, in preparation for the next systemic hypes and monster waves. For just as Mary Shelley poetically envisions the dawn of „media art“ in the ecologically catastrophic summer without sun as an artistically reflective text on scientificity and experimental systems in poetic competition among writers, just as she writes in the poiein of poetic darkness against a climate catastrophe, so brain waves form in the darkness of technologically reconfigured science-bodies. They can be found in William Burroughs‘ Naked Lunch, in the song performance Spare Ass Annie, and in Cronenberg‘s physiology on the dissecting table of performative systemic couplings of future crimes of the future.
