AAA PROFILER— SUBLIMINAL GAME ART, Augmented Reality App/ Game Installation, exhibition “Understanding Artistic Research”, Building Bridges Art Exchange gallery, Bergamot Station, Santa Monica, LA. https://twitter.com/AAA_Profiler An art piece by Margarete Jahrmann, coded to life by Sebastian Tobler, Zurich/ Vienna/ Los Angeles 2019. AR brings up Subliminal messages: the invisible dress of Fake and fact news! The Triple A profiler codes are framed, literally — in a black frame — but also symbolically spoken: key phrases of social networking, as submit, share, like, etc. are coupled with the direct personal address in an imperative form: You submit! A fashion print on a re-used trench-coat (a dress of war) unveils the ubiquitous contemporary participative imperative of network cultures — as main research objective of the artwork. The Triple A Profiler’s main feature is an hybrid tweet, of real life images, tweets, selfies and statements —pure DADA tweetIsm. From April 6th till May 2019 the AR piece AAA PROFILER— SUBLIMINAL GAME ART, is presented at the Understanding ARTS based RESEARCH Symposium + Exhibition at California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) and at Building Bridges Art Exchange gallery Bergamot Station, Santa Monica, LA. As founder of the Ludic-Society collective she edited a magazine and designed a series of Augmented Reality games in public space. http://ludic-society.net. 2018 she exhibited an activist AR App – The Subliminal Message game at Palais UpperAustria, Vienna in the F*Reality exhibition, http://www.margaretejahrmann.net/subliminalmessagegame.
