Description
The course teaches professional dubbing by use of the soudlibrary of Logic. The procedure enables copyright independence.
Contents:
Music and sound as mood-creating elements. Sounddesign.
Technical and artistic foundations of composing, arranging and producing musical structures on motion pictures. The term: »Music» is also interpreted as »Sound- and Noise Structure».
Relevant Application (Digital Audio Workstation): Logic
In line with systematic teaching methods, the course consists of two stages: in the first project, students compose a musical structure and mix it until completion (stand-alone song). In a second project, they apply what they have learned to the soundtrack of a short film. Sounddesign.
Musical previous knowledge is not required !
Following this series of events, participants can expand their knowledge of microphone placement, destructive audio processing, sound synthesis, etc. See:

Examination Modalities
Compulsory attendance for the entire duration of the preliminary meeting is required !
Evaluation takes place continuously throughout the course. Doing corresponding tasks, dubbing a silent movie.
Comments
Knowledge transfer takes place partly via online videos, ensuring maximum flexibility. Feedback and progress (‘Next Steps’) take place weekly in person in one-on-one meetings. For the time frame, see ‘Dates’. The exact course of the course will be explained in detail in the preliminary meeting. Therefore, the preliminary meeting is mandatory for all participants!
Workstations are available in the video studio. A detailed explanation of the process will be provided in the preliminary meeting.
