Qingyu Zhang is an adventurer committed to interdisciplinary and crossdisciplinary projects in art and design, and a practitioner who combines interest, expertise and sustainability. She studied in Material Science and Engineering at Tongji University in bachelor, and then studies Advanced Media and Communication Design at Tongji Uni and Global Challenges and Sustainable Development in Angwandte as a graduate student. Qingyu Zhang specializes in programming design, interaction design and installation design. In the whole art and design experience, Qingyu Zhang has also done a lot of projects related to nature, science and sound. Now Qingyu Zhang is focusing on the soundscape of nature environment and the bioacoustics of Crows and other birds in her master project under the supervision of Katharina Gsöllpointner and Klaus Filip, also with the collaboration with bird watchers in vienna.
