Description

I stand in the courtyard of the old monastery—rain-soaked, wind-torn, cold settling deep. I'm weary, exhausted, chilled to the bone. Water seeps in everywhere, creeping underfoot. The gutters gurgle, mumbling in strange liquid tongues. Wide puddles mirror a sorrowful sky.
