The talk elaborated on the question of how the film "Geographies of Solitude" situates itself at the intersection of avant-garde and documentary film (what Scott MacDonald called “avant-docs”), and how an experimental approach to nature documentary offers an opportunity to connect with the environment in a multisensory way.
