A top that grows into a dress. A robot that models. Gigapixel images and 3D videos of innovative materials - and a live fashion show. The programme of the Fashion & Technology degree programme at the University of Art and Design Linz is colourful! On 23 November 2017, the students will present their work in the Ars Electronica Deep Space - unusual presentation methods and innovative textiles will play just as big a role as the diversity of the models or sustainability in fashion production. The work show gives the entire evening its name: under the motto "DE/MATERIALIZE", new exhibits will be presented in the Ars Electronica Center alongside the fashion show, VR applications will be introduced and the boundaries between the virtual and analogue spheres will be blurred.
