In photo sequences, installations, drawings, sculptures, projections and media hybrids, Liddy Scheffknecht examines the relationship between temporality, perception and space. At Schauraum in the MuseumsQuartier the glass fronts are covered by a large-scale drawing of an exhibition room. Thus, the exhibition shifts from the actual display area to a pictorial space. The imaginary exhibits contained therein are completed by a video projection and a moving element: a figurative shadow, the source of which seems to be located in the showroom. Still and moving images, drawings and film blend into a medial hybrid.
