The project is characterized by two distinctly different residential structures: The basement of the building contains single-story arcade apartments with gardens on the first floor and verandas on the upper floors. The 4th floor (hanging gardens) is a 2400 m2 roof garden that is accessible to all residents and is located in the vertical center of the building. Two-story house groups rest on pillars in that garden floor. The rotation of the two systems creates complex interior and exterior spaces, the diversity of which is only revealed when walking through them. The entire 4th floor was designed as a roof garden with a magnificent view. Open and covered areas create a variety of light situations and uses. The spaces under the six row houses are assigned to different characteristics (children's playground, ball playground, sun deck, gymnasium, pool, Japanese garden), complemented by planting areas such as rose garden, tenant beds, playground, etc. The spatial mixing of work and leisure is taken into account in the floor plans. Each residential unit has an additional neutral area that can be used as a work space and is oriented towards the pergola.
