Interactive binaural audio room for 2 people For this work a virtual binaural based audio chat room was designed, which is located around the users physical space and can be experienced with a headset (headphones with microphone) and through which one can move with the help of a joystick. Elements of this space are sound points, which are located at fixed positions, as well as the moving second person, who is also in this virtual space at the same time. However, this second person is not physically present, but is geographically located in a different place and is only connected to the first person in this virtual space via the Internet. The virtual, binaural-based audio space also exists around them. This is identical to the first person's space. The sound points consist of different noise colors (white, pink, brown and bluish noise). The virtual audio room has different mirror properties that change their state fluidly. The state depends on the position of each listener. Users move through an acoustic space that builds up around them and can explore it while communicating with a second person.
