Abstract
Even after the Year of the Girl, the fluid identity of the Girl Online remains a constant in digital culture. This figure challenges traditional gender norms and serves as a projection surface for self-determination and critique of consumerism. Trends like #girldinner demonstrate how the Girl Online shapes discourses on feminism, capitalism, and privilege. At the same time, it remains embedded within the logic of commodification and is influenced by algorithmic structures. This DANK TALK examines these dynamics using examples from TikTok and discusses potentials for feminist approaches within the digital sphere.
