THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT MIRROR AND MEDIATOR OF RADICALISATION? Curation of a research project by Ralf Brand (University of Manchester) In cooperation with Andrea Börner. Third stop of the touring exhibition. Launch: April 19, 4pm at ARCHITRUCK, Albert Square Open at Albert Square19 April 12am- 20 April 9am-5pm Open at Piccadilly Gardens 21-22 April 9am-5pm The Exhibition presents the results of a research project about the complicated but fascinating relationship between the architecture and socio-political conditions in cities with different types of conflict: Belfast, Beirut, Berlin and Amsterdam. Manchester is the third stop of this touring exhibition which is also an official part of the Manchester Architecture and Design Festival.
