The sculpture consists of circular discs made of mirror-polished stainless steel, irregularly slotted into one another and slowly rotating around their own axis.
Through this movement, the overlapping
elements continually generate shifting formations and reflections.
All sculptures in the series are designed in close collaboration between artist Eva Schlegel and architect Valerie Messini, developed digitally in 3D and tested through various model studies. They emphasize the tangible presence of mass, volume, and gravity, while at the same time oscillating
toward abstraction, reflection, and spatial dissolution.
