Recipe: Take 3 stereo radios. Each radio is tuned to a different station: 1.radio: Ö1 2.radio: fm4 3.radio: a free radio (orange94,0 in vienna, radio helsinki 92,6 in graz, radio freirad 105,9 in innsbruck, FRS freies radio im salzkammergut, MiRa Campusradio 94,4 in St.Pölten, Freies radio B138 90,4 in Krems and Radiofrabrik 107,5 in Salzburg) Distribute the 3 radios in the room and listen. A streetcar becomes an exhibition space whose movement serves as a reference to 12 time-based works set up inside by students of the digital art department. The stations in which the audience can get on and off the tram divide the journey into temporal sections. This performative exhibition is illustrated by 6 acoustic perspectives that are transmitted live via radio. The 6 microphones were placed evenly along the length of the streetcar inside the wagons. At each station, they moved forward one position, with the foremost microphone exiting at the front and re-entering at the back. Through the movements of 6 microphones in the exhibition space, the audible of the exhibited works became experiencable as material for a time-based spatial deconstruction in a radio multi-channel installation. In the private space of the radio listeners, the unfolding of a multi-perspective listening situation is demanded. The exhibition moves along the radios.
