Barbara Macek employs crows as poetic agents. By playing readings of her poems on crows and death in the woods and recording the vocalisations of crows commenting on the playback, hybrids of words and caws emerge.
The transcriptions of these interactions resulted in human/crow sound poetry; examples were published in the artist book: "crows' death talks".
