In its fourth incarnation Urban Lights Ruhr invites eight artistic interventions to examine and transform the centre of the modernistic plancity Marl in Ruhr region of Germany and its ever-growing sculpture park. New work developed by internationally recognized artists opens new perspectives on existing architectonic and civic planning structures. Between dystopia and utopia the interventions offer ideas to reinterpret and revive these protected buildings. With interventions by Isa Melsheimer, Kristina Buch, Nikolaus Gansterer, Mischa Kuball, Martin Pfeifle, Michael Sailstorfer, Sans Facon, Hannah Weinberger.
