ABSTRACT:
Haifa Ouerfelli's art installation, part of the Young Masters of the Media Art Friesland project, transforms a calm hall into an immersive, interactive space using recycled materials and video projection. Her work features greenish light reflections off broken mirrors, creating a fragmented visual experience that incorporates viewers' shadows. Ouerfelli, an experienced artist in video projection and spatial design, repurposes discarded materials to emphasize sustainability in her art. Her installation, 'Imaginarium', developed during her studies at ESSTeD in Tunis, invites viewers to engage with the interplay of perception and reflection, reshaping overlooked spaces into dynamic, colorful experiences.
