For its ten year anniversary, AIL presents a special edition of postcards. Installed in the former cashier hall of Otto Wagner Postsparkasse, visitors are invited to select one and send it out into the world. Valerie Prinz, student and alumni of the department of Creative Writing [Sprachkunst] has developed a series of statements which emerge from AIL’s cosmos of questions, research and program. Together we ask: Where are we and where are we going? In this place of exchange, we encourage you to stay connected. Every day visitors and tourist come into the building, looking for a post office. Still not selling stamps, for a moment, we keep the expectations coming with the building of Postsparkasse. As a temporary installation, you can find now a postcard holder in the setting of Café Exchange. Pick your favorite cards and send them out into the world.
