Description
Since mankind has mastered the subtleties of cooking, decent dining etiquette has followed. For example, how we arrange our cutlery and use it. We place great importance on the food that enters our digestive system. Is there a digestive system on the planet we live on? How do rivers, oceans, land and air digest the products of human industrial civilisation? What role have humans played in shaping the global dining rituals? By combining montage visual and cartographic representations, this project addresses the challenging issue of the worldwide trade in waste.
