Description

From July to September 2025, the side wing of the former Postsparkasse was transformed into a temporary research lab: the SLS Summer Studio, also referred to as SŸS SPACE. Over the course of two months, the team developed and tested scenographic elements, produced artistic components, and refined project-specific methods. A multisensory scenography was built in the space, consisting of several stations that combined olfactory, tactile, and auditory interventions. A dedicated reflection area allowed participants to articulate and discuss their experiences after moving through the installation. Test persons with diverse backgrounds were invited to experience the scenography individually. Some were already familiar with the project, others encountered it for the first time. Each participant was guided through the space by Jeanette Müller. The aim was to examine how the individual elements functioned on their own and how they operated together as a coherent multisensory environment. Through structured feedback and conversation, the team gathered insights into how system-scientific principles are perceived when translated into embodied experience. These observations are feeding directly into the further development of the project’s methods and final scenographic formats. #SLS #SENSING LIVING SYSTEMS #FWFPEEKProjekt #MUELLER-DIVJAK Jeanette Müller, Paul Divjak, Alexandra Graupner, Anna-Maria Irgang
