Description
I'm sitting right next to the lemur enclosure. Warm autumn light on my left cheek, it blinds me. The orang-utans were active, but very quiet. It's noisy here with the lemurs. Two or three ring-tailed lemurs are running around calling on the island opposite and swinging loudly over the bridge into their glass cage. There is a lively communication going on between the animals. The red varis are also squawking. P. sits next to me. We listen and sketch. The shrill cries of the parrots and cockatoos penetrate deep into my ear. It smells like dung.
