DYER'S GARDEN for the Nubuke Centre for Textiles and Clay in Wa/Ghana The organic form of the garden gently encloses five beds in which different dye plants were grown. The colour spectrum ranges from yellow and orange tones of Dyer's Chamomile, Safflower, Coreopsis and Tagetes to the blue of Indigo and a dark grey-blue of Hollyhock. In the centre a mahogany tree was planted, which refers to the local plants and dyes and will later serve as an important source of shade for the garden.
