The “Drawing Now” exhibition opens at the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Austria, providing an up-to-date survey of drawing, painting and illustration in contemporary art. It showcases the viewpoints of around 45 international artists who collectively represent contemporary drawing and who, individually, are taking it in a direction of their own. “Drawing Now” sheds light on the diversity of issues that artists articulate with the aid of drawing, and shows drawing in its exciting dimensions and manifestations.
