Over the past eight years, numerous artists were invited to exhibit at the Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl, Germany and have created new works specifically for the occasion. The results include video works, sculptures, and photographs that reveal an intensive artistic preoccupation with the manifold aspects of urban life in Marl, its history and architecture, its art and its residents.
