Science communication is an important concern related to the SENSING LIVING SYSTEMS project. With the hands-on / senses-on station "It's all about the whole!" at the EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS NIGHT, a group of researchers involved gave numerous visitors insights into olfactory and tactile approaches to a closer understanding of systems. At the ‘It's all about the whole!’ workshop station visitors were invited to use their hands, noses and ears to explore different surroundings and ecosystems. Shifting from the dominant visual sense to the sense of touch, the olfactory, and the auditory sense, direct experiences allowed for perceiving multiple connections, and realising the potentials of connectivity #SLS #SENSING LIVING SYSTEMS #FWF PEEK Projekt #MUELLER-DIVJAK
