Description
In contemporary art and design practices, performance and performativity have acquired a wide range of meanings. The body, perception, space, and encounter become artistic material. Through simple practical exercises in breathing, voice, presence, perception, and expression, this introductory course provides a first encounter with performative practice. Building on these experiences, participants develop their own small performative experiments and gain an initial insight into the potential of performance as an artistic mode of working. The course is intended as an introduction and an invitation
