Beschreibung

The course accompanies students in their forthcoming in the study programme of Cross-Disciplinary Strategies (CDS). It aims at giving support in navigating the diverse inputs regarding content and formats, which students encounter in CDS, and it aims at creating a space for critical but also supportive reflection and debate.

One of the tools used in the course is the study journal. While being formally open it aims at documenting in writing and visually skills, projects, readings and ideas developed and undertaken over the course of a semester. Thus, the journal helps students to situate themselves within different fields, discourses, approaches and creates a basis for further project work.

The course consists of an introductory and one plenary session as well as of two individual or small group sessions (depending on the size of the class).

Prüfungsmodalitäten

Successful completion requires active participation in class, attendance of at least 80% of the group sessions and both individual sessions as well as preparatory course work. 

Anmerkungen

The course “Program-Related Reflection | Application” offered by both Nina Bandi  (course nr. S05987) and Adnan Balcinovic (course nr. S05825), can only be taken with one of the two instructors. It is NOT possible to enroll in both courses in the same semester.
