Beschreibung
The course offers the opportunity to work outside the university and actively contribute to transformations, particularly in digital, social, economic, cultural, media, and political areas. Field projects can be conducted at NGOs, public institutions, initiatives, science collaborations, research organizations, think tanks, activist groups, villages or municipalities, corporations, companies, start-ups etc. Alternatively, students may take the opportunity to develop projects that relate to specific transformation processes and implement them in collaboration with the partners mentioned above.
Field projects may address problems of various scales (local, regional, national, global, planetary) and facilitate creative boundary transgressions, engagement with contradictions and limitations, and the testing of ideas in transdisciplinary fields. Contributing to just and diverse more-than-human environments is a core aspiration of this course.
Prüfungsmodalitäten
Field projects will be graded from 1 to 5: 60% project, 10% proposal, 15% presentation of the project, 15% report
