Beschreibung

 

The BA CDC Lab is the central study component of the CDS program, where cross-disciplinary work is practiced through both a research paper and an applied project. Building on this year’s CDS research theme, Networks, the lab offers methodological input, discussions, peer presentations, and individual mentoring. Throughout the semester and academic year, students have the opportunity to work either individually or collaboratively.

The lab will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:00 and will consist of group meetings and individual mentoring sessions.

An optional intensive kick-off session will be held on October 2–3 and is highly recommended. If you have not yet signed up for the kick-off session but would like to attend, please contact me directly.

Prüfungsmodalitäten

To pass the CDC Application Lab, students must:

  • write one research paper and work continuously on one applied project;
  • attend at least 80% of the class sessions;
  • complete the required readings and any preparatory work before each session, if requested;
  • actively participate in class discussions and provide constructive peer feedback; and
  • present both their research paper and their applied project at the end of the semester.
