Description
This course addresses both the theoretical and practical aspects of the basic properties and design possibilities of slips and surface techniques, followed by hands-on exercises.
A further focus is placed on simple approaches to applying glazes based on recipes, their various methods of application, and different mixing techniques.
The aim of this course is for participants to gain an initial understanding of the possibilities for designing ceramic surfaces in the studio and, with the acquired basic knowledge, to continue experimenting with glaze raw materials in the ceramics studio.
The number of participants is limited to 10.
Good knowledge of German is required.
Examination Modalities
Assessment will be based on the work results, and attendance is mandatory.
