Description
This course introduces the fundamentals of woodcut and linocut printmaking. Participants will learn how to work with tools, materials, printing inks, and the printing press, while gaining an introduction to the workflow and practices of the printmaking studio.
Limited places available! Please register only if you are able to commit to attending the course, so that others on the waiting list have the opportunity to participate.
Examination Modalities
Regular work in the printmaking studio throughout the semester is expected (at least five studio sessions). Consistent participation is essential for developing an understanding of the printmaking process and is a prerequisite for receiving ECTS credits.
Comments
There are no fixed seminar times. Individual consultation and printing appointments will be made!
For a deposit of 20 euros, a tool set can be borrowed from the printmaking office (only for Hochdruck 1) – VZA 7, 1.OG, room 147
Participation in the introductory event is a prerequisite for further participation in the course!
It is not possible for students to be enrolled outside of the Angewandte.
