This course must be completed as individual art instruction in the semester in which the student intends to complete the first stage of their studies and take the partial examination before the examination board.

The course will be offered in the spring semester of 2026 in a team-teaching format with colleagues from the department. Registration for one of the parallel courses taught by Elizaveta Fateeva, Peter Mahlknecht, Christian Ruschitzka, or Marcus Bruckmann is therefore required. Please also refer to their entry for Design Draft 1.1.


The prerequisite for participation is the completion of Design Draft 1.0, worth 48 ECTS credits.


The partial examination at the end of the first stage of the program consists of a discussion with members of the examination board based on the Design Draft 1.1 project.
