The course supports students in creating and continuously working on a study journal, a tool that documents in writing and visually skills, projects, readings and ideas developed and undertaken over the course of a semester.

The aim is threefold:

The study journal is a basis for individual and group discussions in which we try to review the decisions made and create thus a space for critical but also supportive reflection and debate.

The course supports the students in navigating the diverse inputs regarding content and formats, which they encounter in CDS.

Finally, the journal helps the studens to situate themselves within different fields, discourses, approaches and thus creates a basis for further project work.

Successful completion requires active participation in class, attendance of at least 80% and assignments handed in. 

The course “Program-Related Reflection | Application,” which will be offered in the summer semester 2026 by both Nina Bandi and Adnan Balcinovic, can only be taken with one of the two instructors. It is NOT possible to enroll in both courses in the same semester.
