Description

Photographic archives, collectivity and solidarity

This course brings together the medium of photography with questions of archives, collectivity and solidarity. The aim is to learn about possible approaches to one's own photographic (family) archives.
Students learn and experiment with linking individual biographies to collective and larger his/herstories and contexts. They will rummage through their own (family) archives and develop possible narratives that articulate these connections.
