The course deals with critical reflection, contextualization, and situating one's own artistic/educational/mediation practice. It provides the foundations for putting one's own thinking, feeling, and working within artistic/educational processes into perspective, with a focus on intersectional debates with critical diversity as lived practice.

As part of the course, students will learn about the Hint Verein Wien project “Zweifelhafte Vergnügungen – Vielfalt und Kritik in der Leopoldstadt” (Dubious Pleasures – Diversity and Criticism in Leopoldstadt) and contribute to the Critical Reflection Circle. The Zweifelhafte Vergnügungen project serves to address Vienna's history of human zoos and “human spectacles” in Leopoldstadt as a contribution to a contemporary culture of remembrance.
