Description
“Fascism” is a term that describes a process that precedes fascism, is intertwined with it, but does not necessarily mean that the result of this process is indeed always fascism. It is therefore not identical to the description and analysis of historical fascisms, such as German or Italian fascism, but must take their analyses, as well as their colonial precursors and continuities, into account. As formulated by the “Alliance for Critical Scholarship in Solidarity / Krisol” in its lecture series on the topic, the term fascistization is intended to “identify and analyze tendencies whose origins are as open as their end points, which depend not least on our actions.”
