Beschreibung

This course explores the integration of movement and dramaturgy in media arts, focusing on what it means to have a body as an artist. Through practice-based exercises, we will enhance bodily awareness and performative skills. We will explore dramaturgy and mise en scène as tools to shape spatial, temporal, and relational dynamics in the field of performance.

As part of the course, we will collectively develop a performance project to be presented at the Angewandte Festival. The final work may take the form of group, couple, or solo performances, depending on the artistic interests and approaches of the participants.

Conceptualization is central to the course, with diffraction guiding our approach to thinking, making, and performing; we will work with structured feedback methods, including peer feedback and collective reflection, to continuously refine and develop the performance throughout the course.
