Beschreibung
Do you freeze or flourish when someone would push you on a stage and say do something. What if you 'd consider the stage is everywhere ? What is our ability to perform in any given circumstance both physical and imaginary ? The lake, the mountain or the forest are places I relate to as spaces of relaxation, rather the opposite of a performance stage. Can we take inspiration from these relaxing spaces to apply in performative action and can we see relaxing activities as performance ? Where I often see art as a place of resistance, can I also find my way in it through a state of embrace ? To soften through a landscape of senses, finding new pathways as we wander around with a vague direction, avoiding our pitfalls and dogmas. Accepting our simple presence as a base, where nothing has to happen, but anything is possible.
We will gather inside of the studio and go on field trips. We 'll practice being witnesses and observers. We 'll explore desires and questions in solo and group improvisations. And we look into what a judgemental and an unjudgemental approach brings us.
