There is no such thing as good or bad image composition, but compositions do have an effect on viewers. Understanding, knowledge, and experience in the field of image composition help us to better empathize with image effects and experience their dynamics more consciously.

The workshop uses theoretical knowledge (Rudolf Arnheim, Amy Sillman, Werner van Appeldorn, and others) and practical exercises to teach basic knowledge of image composition, applicable both in the field of fine arts and in the applied arts, including moving images. For practical reasons, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 15.

The event will take place in March, every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the project room of the Painting and Animation Film Department, Fersteltrakt 2nd floor:
