This course introduces the fundamentals of project-based work and provides a foundation for conducting academic and applied projects. Students will learn core aspects of project management, including project planning, defining research questions, structuring and writing project reports, and monitoring progress over time. The course is designed to equip students with practical skills that will support future project work throughout their CDS studies and beyond.

The course builds upon theoretical concepts introduced in Introduction to Science and Technology (Winter Term 2025/2026), but it is self-contained and accessible to all students, regardless of whether they have previously taken that course. No prior project experience is required.

In addition to regular attendance and active participation, students will complete a range of assignments, including project reports, project monitoring tasks, and the formulation of research questions. Detailed information about the assignments will be communicated during the course.
