Description
This course invites students from across disciplines to develop engagement formats that go beyond the guided tour. Participants will create alternative formats that challenge linear approaches to art education, fostering a more engaging, participatory environment for Angewandte Festival visitors. Through input sessions, museum visits, workshops on inclusive mediation, group exercises, and critical discussions, students will explore individual and experimental ways to interact with the audience. Moving beyond conventional exhibition tours, they will develop new programme formats that embody the Angewandte’s trans- and interdisciplinary approach and that will be part of the programme of the Angewandte Festival. In the process of developing “tours beyond tours,” students will collaborate with other departments, engaging with diverse student works and approaches within the institution itself.

Comments
Limited number of participants of about 18 people. The aim is for participants to come from different studies and participation in the kick-off event is mandatory. The schedule may still change slightly.
