Description

I can see you, see me. What are drones?

Drone vision, FPV, and play

“First-person view (FPV), also known as remote-person view (RPV) or video piloting, is a method of controlling a remote-controlled vehicle from the perspective of the driver or pilot.”

This seminar will be a game. You can check in and receive a boarding pass.

Game Art with Drones not only allows participants to experience the world from the inside, but also offers an external perspective that sharpens awareness of movement, space, perception, and visual “motion sickness.”
We also address the repurposing of “war equipment” into positive toys for critical art production.

This course combines hands-on experimentation and playful fun with drones, inviting students to explore, test, and rethink how technology can become a creative tool.

As artists, we can explore entirely new possibilities for play by using drones and virtual reality headsets for collective experimentation. This course examines how these technologies open up new areas of artistic practice. A particularly exciting experience is First Person View (FPV), in which participants can slip into the role of an external observer from the position of an internal observer. With this new perspective, the boundary between reality and play becomes increasingly blurred.
