2026S, Lecture with Practical Exercises (VU), 2.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S04306
Description
Applied dyeing and finishing techniques on textile raw materials and products, dyeing with natural materials, costume and textile painting and costume processing;
In the Textile Technology - Dyeing department, a wide range of dyeing techniques can be applied in practice under professional guidance. This includes a wide variety of reservation techniques (batik, etc.), gradient dyeing, multi-color effects, partial dyeing, fabric painting, surface treatment, patination and finishing of fabrics. In some cases, the technologies of printing, painting and dyeing merge. Textile painting and costume processing: the painting, processing and patinating of a wide variety of materials and surfaces with a broad spectrum of colorants - from shoes to headgear and accessories - rounds off the workshop's offerings.
Students can realize their coloristic ideas and artistic concepts with professional help in theory and practice in collegial individual supervision.
In addition, this academic year there is a lecture on "Costume painting, costume dyeing and costume processing" as well as 2 workshops on specific topics such as "Costume dyeing, costume painting and processing" and "Natural dyeing - impression processes"
Attention! - Limited number of participants (places will be allocated at the mandatory preliminary meeting)
