Description
This course examines the practice of exhibition-making as a central mode of knowledge production and mediation in art and science. Through a combination of lectures, field excursions, and practical exercises, students will explore exhibitions from multiple analytical and operational perspectives. The course aims to situate the exhibition as a key communicative format within transdisciplinary art–science contexts and to prepare students for the joint annual exhibition in the summer semester. As an integral component of the course, four sessions of the workshop How to Make Memorable Art by Klaus Speidel and Matthew Pelowski will be incorporated.
Examination Modalities
Exploring and representing projects in small groups; 80% attendance; active collaboration in form of research and presentations, reading the This course will be held in English, literature and preparation of introductory notes.
