3.0 ECTS, every Thursday, 13.00, SR 26, Design Basics
Japanese Aesthetics in Design.
Examination Modalities
The criteria for assessing an Artistic Project are:
+ Continuous work on an artistic design process (4ECTS x 25hours)
+ Weekly exchange within the group (15 weeks / artistic seminar/continuous assessment).
+ One-to-one as required and by personal agreement (see kick-off)
+ Documentation of your contribution in the DEX template provided: all contributions will be collected in an A5 booklet and bound in June (in cooperation with Buch & Papier). According to the new DEX guidelines, your documentation material will be uploaded by the course coordinator to BASE.
+ Optionally, you also have the opportunity to present your Artistic Project at the DEX presentations in January or March.

In the first unit, in addition to the content framework, dates and timeslots for Thursdays will be determined together. Please bring a laptop/tablet, (mobile phone) camera, soft pens and pencils and paper. The cost of materials will not exceed 20,- Euros.
Your Artistic Project Design is open to all fields of study. It can be combined with technologies/practices in the DEX curriculum and transformed into a teaching concept in subject didactics (Translation I (Paul Iby) or Translation II (Susanne Frantal) (useful in the following semester). The Artistic Project often inspires artistic or scientific BA or MA theses.
